Xeroscape is water conservation through creative, appropriate landscaping and water management. We promote efficient irrigation and drought-tolerant plants, appropriate to the Southern California climate.
Among other things xeroscaping contributes to lower water & energy bills, and increased habitat for native beneficial insects.
Xeroscape can reduce water use by 60%. Water-saving smart controllers on irrigation systems can reduce landscape water use by an additional 50%. |

The word Xeroscape was coined by combining xeros, Greek for "dry" with landscape. Also: zeroscape and Xeriscape™.
